Tile Backer Board Insulation is available in 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm 20mm, 30mm, 40mm & 50mm depths and is designed to insulate and resurface walls and floors

These Professional Series insulation boards can be tiled onto, plastered over, and also rendered. Perfect in most wet room areas

The Tile Backer Board consists of a blue core made from extruded polystyrene rigid foam

The rigid foam is reinforced with glass fibre (with alkali-resistant finish) on both sides and coated with a polymer-modified cement. This core is 100% waterproof and remains fully functional even after possible damage

Tile Backer Board is suitable for a wide range of applications, thanks to it’s special properties. It is primarily used as a carrying element for laying tiles, slabs and natural stone floor coverings using the thin-bed method. It can also be used as an adhesive surface for applying plaster, tile adhesive and other materials

Installation:

Fix to a solid concrete floor utilizing Flexible Tile Adhesive.

Fix to a timber/wood floor utilizing Flexible Tile Adhesive or steel washers and screws.
